Hi There, I’m Kathleen

I am a Yoga Teacher and Integrative Health Coach diagnosed with osteoporosis. I love to be outside in nature, whether it is a hike or another form of exercise, being active and healthy is my passion. I want to do all the things I love for years to come, regardless of age.

I used to associate osteoporosis with being something only older women experienced, as part of post menopause. I never thought it could happen to me, especially before menopause.

As an active woman, the diagnosis came as a surprise for me, maybe it was for you too?

Many women, just like us, are diagnosed every year. Some do not find out until it’s too late. I am glad I know now so I can work to reverse or at least prevent further bone loss.

Now you might be wondering what needs to change?

Lifestyle, food choices, yoga?

And, the short answer is YES!

Credentials: Kathleen is a Bone Fit trained Professional and Yoga Teacher certified in the Fishman Method – Yoga for Osteoporosis, Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 500, RCYT, YACEP),  Yoga Therapist in Training,  Lifestyle Medicine Certified Health Coach, Certified Wellcoaches® Health & Wellness Coach (CHWC), mbg Certified Functional Nutrition Coach, and Certified Mindfulness Instructor (CMI, MBSR-T).


My methodology is a blend of Ayurveda-inspired Lifestyle Routines, Lifestyle Medicine, Functional Nutrition, and Yoga Therapeutics.


Not your “traditional one-size-fits-all” style yoga class. My yoga classes are designed for students with osteopenia and/or osteoporosis to practice yoga safely.
